On Tuesday February 11, Redeve Oy subsidiary Kansallisholding Oy and the City of Kristinestad signed an advance reservation agreement for a land area of approximately 235 hectares. The area will be zoned for large-scale data centre operations.

Redeve Oy’s Board of Directors has appointed Timo Heiskanen as the company’s new CEO as of 1 November 2024. At the same time, Heiskanen will also become the CEO of Kansallisholding Oy, a subsidiary of Redeve. Timo has previously served as Redeve Group’s Director of Real Estate.

Icelandic Borealis Data Center is expanding its operations by acquiring the data centre previously operated by Herman IT in Renforsin Ranta. The business was transferred to the new owner on the 1st of February 2024. The business acquisition and the upcoming expansion will significantly strengthen the data centre offerings and expertise in the area, along with the strong commitment to eco-efficiency.

The former Myllykoski paper mill area owned by Redeve has undergone extensive development, resulting in significant new business activities. The agreement on the location of the new atNorth data centre in Myllykoski, Kouvola, was signed on the 4th of December 2023.
